Grandfather Meken is deeply attached to a cotton doll made by his late wife and to a kitten he considers his son. The grandparents named the doll Makta, Baby doll, and one day, she magically comes to life. The old man rejoices as if a newborn child has been born.
Makta grows up to be intelligent and sociable, with a passion for keeping the house tidy. However, the Kitten becomes jealous of her and starts acting out—knocking over a flowerpot, breaking dishes, and causing mischief. Their tense relationship forms the core of the story. In each episode, Makta wisely resolves the conflict, understands the Kitten’s jealousy, and they eventually become friends.
