It all begins with an old photo of a little boy, shown to the elderly writer Madi Eralin by his wife. The woman decided to ease her soul by revealing the secret she had kept for many years. The depicted boy is Abylai, the son of Madi’s only younger brother. By the will of fate, the brothers’ life paths diverged. Once, Abylai’s mother, in a difcult period of her life, asked Madi’s wife for help, but she turned her from the door. Feeling guilty, she asks her husband to fnd the boy and ask for forgiveness.
